Thirteen teams raced that night, including Bourbon County, Seneca, Frederick Douglass, Covington Catholic, North Hardin, and Ryle.
The meet was for “A team” runners only, meaning runners who qualified with a certain time.
Runners came from all around the county to participate in this meet. This meet was in memory and honor of Lafayette alumni runner and Olympian Tyson Gay, as well as his deceased daughter Trinity, who will forever hold a place in our hearts. The Tyson/Trinity Gay Invitational was on April 6th at the Lafayette track.
